Can help energize every cell in your body

Item #01868EU 120 Capsules 4 per serving In Stock

For you, if you are looking for a product that can support the body’s energy production

The active ingredients in Mitochondrial Energy Optimizer with PQQ can:
  • Support healthy mitochondrial function and cellular energy output
  • Trigger growth of new mitochondria in aging cells
  • Protect against glycation, a toxic process aggravated by elevated glucose levels which is involved in accelerated ageing.
  • Aid in cellular metabolism of glucose

The ingredients in Mitochondrial Energy Optimizer with PQQ can support the mitochondria, which produces up towards 95% of the energy that the body needs (ATP), leaving you more energized.

Product details "Mitochondrial Energy Optimizer with PQQ, EU"

Health benefits at a glance:

Known as "cellular dynamos," healthy mitochondria produce the energy that power cells. As people age, however, mitochondria both lose function and decrease in number. Life Extension's unique  Mitochondrial Energy Optimizer with PQQ was formulated to enhance mitochondrial function, protect delicate cellular structures, power-charge metabolic processes and aid in the creation of new mitochondria.

Why it works:

Mitochondria are the powerhouses of the human cells because they produce cellular energy. Cells require healthy mitochondrial activity to perform life-sustaining metabolic processes. As mitochondrial function weakens, so does the vitality of organs, like heart and brain or, in some cases, the entire body.

Besides mitochondrial decay, ageing is characterized by glycation, and loss of cellular function/structure. Mitochondrial Energy Optimizer with PQQ brings together potent nutrients in one formula to help neutralize these changes.

The science behind the product:

Researchers have identified a number of compounds that can help mitochondria function more efficiently and even help generate new mitochondria. The following unique ingredients in Mitochondrial Energy Optimizer with PQQ have all been shown to benefit mitochondria:

  • PQQ (Pyrroloquinoline quinone) - next generation cellular rejuvenator that triggers growth of new mitochondria in ageing cells and helps with protecting their delicate structures.
  • Carnosine - a powerful agent that works against damaging glycation reactions and protects neurons against toxic so called protein carbonyl species associated with normal ageing.
  • Thiamine or vitamin B1 which plays a vital role in glucose metabolism and supports energy generation from food.
  • Pyridoxal 5'-Phosphate - the active form of vitamin B6 that has been shown to help protect against glycation, a toxic process involved in accelerated ageing.
  • R-Lipoic Acid - a potent form of lipoid acid that promotes mitochondrial bioenergetics and lessens the impact of free radicals.
  • Taurine. This amino acid supports neurite growth 50 and powerfully protects the mitochondria 51 from oxidative damage to enhance energy production within cells.50,52,53 Taurine is prevalent throughout the body54 and found in especially high amounts in the metabolically active cells that require high mitochondrial energy production (brain,54 nerve, eye,55 heart,56 and skeletal muscle cells57).

Please note: This formulation has been aligned with EU ingredient standards for food supplements, ensuring the highest possible ingredient potency allowed in the Netherlands and other countries of the EU.
