The science behind the product:
Artichoke leaf and ginger root extract
Foods move naturally from the mouth to the stomach and down into your lower digestive tract. This is called “GI or gut motility.” The first step in relieving bloating is supporting healthy gut motility.
Prodigest® is a patented blend of artichoke leaf and ginger root extracts. Ginger can help speed up gastric emptying, supporting the natural movement of food through the digestive tract by stimulating the migrating motor complex. Artichoke extract can complement this by promoting healthy bile flow from the liver, further supporting digestion.
In a double-blind, placebo-controlled study, participants taking Prodigest® reported improvements in stomach comfort and reduced bloating after just 2 weeks. Another study used ultrasound to assess stomach size before and after meals, showing a significant reduction in stomach size in the Prodigest® group, indicating better gastric motility.
Fennel seed oil + turmeric
