DMAE for Memory, Learning & Brain function

DMAE (2-dimethylaminoethanol) is a precursor, a compound the body uses to make choline. Choline is needed for optimal production of acetylcholine, which is the main neurotransmitter involved in memory and learning.

Choline is also needed to synthesize the phospholipid phosphatidylcholine. Phosphatidylcholine concentrates in the brain, and maintaining healthy levels of brain phospholipids may be an important strategy for youthful brain function during aging. (2-4)

DMAE for Cell & Mitochondrial Membranes

Cell membrane integrity is crucial to every structure and function in your body. Phosphatidylcholine, supported by DMAE, is used to build and rejuvenate cell and mitochondrial membranes. 

DMAE has also shown the ability to neutralize free radicals, which may add to its ability to protect cell membrane integrity. (1)
