Liquorice DGL and Side Effects

Glycyrrhizinates, compounds found in liquorice, at high doses, can lead to various side effects such as:

Coating aspirin with licorice reduced rat ulcers by half, while combining DGL with cimetidine further lowered stomach damage, and human aspirin takers with DGL had less blood loss.
