Health Benefits at a Glance:
Zinc supplementation can effectively support the aging immune defense.
Zinc Caps provides a highly absorbable zinc formula containing a 15-milligram dose in each capsule.
Moreover, Zinc Caps is a vegetarian, gluten-free, and non-GMO zinc supplement.
Why it Works:
Zinc is well known for its immune health benefits, supporting your body’s natural immune response.
Unfortunately, research shows that zinc deficiency is widespread. (1,2) This can contribute to aging-related decline in immune function.
Adding a zink supplement to the daily routine can promote the aging immune systems as well as a healthy inflammatory response. (2-5)
The Science Behind the Product:
Other crucial properties of zinc
The benefits of zinc go beyond immune support:
- Zinc plays a key role in superoxide dismutase, one of your body's most powerful natural antioxidant enzymes.
- This mineral is required for the activity of over 300 enzymes that carry out essential biochemical reactions in your body. (2,6,7)
- Furthermore, zinc is essential for hormone production and regulate protein and DNA synthesis, insulin production, as well as thyroid and bone metabolism. (6,8)
- Zinc also promotes neurological health and vision, especially for older people. (7,9,10)
A bioavailable formula
The absorption of zinc can be limited, and specific compounds in plant sources and grains can inhibit absorption even more. (11)
Zinc Caps contains a combination of highly bioavailable OptiZinc® and zinc citrate to provide a 15 milligram dose of zinc.
OptiZinc® is a bioavailable form of zinc. (12,13)
